Aligning Professional and Family Life - Perspectives from Politics, Industry and Education

Topic of the event, which is being organized in close co-operation with Srita Heide International and European Professional Women's Network, is "Aligning professional and family life – perspectives from politics, industry and education". The aim of the conference is to discuss and better understand the interplaying roles of these sectors in developing a culture that supports professionals in balancing their professional and private lives.

To this end, we have invited speakers from all three sectors to share both their achievements and challenges and we invite you to join in on the discussion. Selected speakers include:

  • Srita Heide, Co-President European Professional Women's Network
  • Petra Mackroth, Federal Ministry of Family and Social Affairs, Germany
  • Ursula Schwarzenbart, Global Diversity Officer & Performance & Potential Management, Daimler AG

The conference will take place at the Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung (ZEW) in Mannheim from 3:30 to 7 pm and will close with cocktails and networking. Afterwards, conference participants are invited to join the monthly MBS Stammtisch at Café Novus for further networking opportunities.
