Third Annual MBS Alumni Homecoming, November 20, 2010 at Mannheim Palace

On November 20, 2010, Mannheim Palace once again opened its doors to host our signature alumni event, the MBS Annual Alumni Homecoming, which by now has become a well-established tradition. To add further value to the event, workshops for Advanced Network members were organized during the day and the established Program Roundtables of the ESSEC & MANNHEIM Executive MBA also took place. The result: a record of 260 alumni, guests, faculty members and staff attended the event.

As keynote speaker of the evening, Prof. Dr. Jens Wüstemann, President of Mannheim Business School, welcomed Dr. Jürgen Hambrecht, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of BASF SE, whose candid and engaging speech on "Creating Value through Values" was highly topical and sparked a lively question & answer session.

The dinner reception that followed provided plenty of opportunity to reconnect with former classmates and to get to know fellow alumni from other classes and programs. Although the event lasted well past midnight, for many it was only the prelude to further celebration of the Mannheim spirit.
